Phew! What a whirlwind of a few days, but we are so thankful to have been able to go home and celebrate a wedding! While home we were lucky enough to be able to see all our family in the short 3 days we were there as well as a couple of friends. I definitely felt like a zombie all day Sunday and Monday trying to catch up on sleep, so no time for blog posts. My overall wishes really have decreased. There are a few larger purchases I am holding out on for my anniversary and my birthday, like some new sunglasses and a new watch. Other than that, I haven't had any desire to shop for myself or add anything major to my closet. The past few months, the only new items I've added are a few maternity items, 4 pairs of shoes, 2 purses (pretty much all these things were from Target & Old Navy) and a couple of pieces of jewelry to go with my dress I will wear for our maternity pictures. Speaking of maternity pictures, there is one more item I want to add to my outfit, and that's a simple gold necklace. I have a couple of necklaces, but none that I feel work well...one is way too much of a statement necklace, the other is very dainty and great, but it ALWAYS gets super tangled and I don't want to have to worry about that the whole time we're taking pictures. Here are some different options that I am considering! For any additional info, just click the picture. What do you think? Any favorites? I'm leaning towards the first row left, center row middle, or third row left to pair with my other jewelry. But I would love to add all 9 of these to my life! :)
Here's a shot of me and hubby this weekend from the wedding! Thank goodness for a great seamstress because she did an amazing job of taking a dress I ordered 5 sizes too big and making it look like a dress that fit me. I was pretty nervous about putting it on because I had it altered in early May and over the last 4 weeks my belly has definitely popped out! By some miracle, it was perfect! :)
Today we are off running errands and getting things set for the wedding tomorrow. We are so excited to share in the memories tomorrow. I am one of the bridesmaids and my husband is walking his sister down the aisle. It will be a special day for sure. Not sure how I am going to feel in the hot heat and humidity at nearly 6 months pregnant, but there is only so much that I can control with that. Luckily, my mom will also be at the ceremony so she will be holding on to a bottle of water and different shoes for me as needed.
One of the best things about this top is how easy it is to pair with any other color in every season possible. I did break down and get 2 pairs of colored maternity shorts at Old Navy during Memorial Day weekend. I don't think my elastic waist J.Crew shorts will hold out for this entire pregnancy, but these definitely will! Here are some other great tops that would be easy to mix up as well! Happy Friday!
Happy Thursday! Here are some bargain finds!

Today, we are traveling home for my sister-in-law's wedding. 8 hour car ride commence! Here is what I am wearing home today! I love my Tennessee state emblem T-shirt in Tennessee Orange and white! I am proud of where I am from and where I went to school, so what better way to show that than in my outfit! Plus this T-shirt material is so incredibly comfortable and has been my go to when I am not feeling up to a full on outfit!

Let's get real. None of these clothes in this picture actually fit me right now. I officially cannot fit into any of my pre-preggo shorts and fitted peplum tops are definitely out. However, I do miss wearing my clothes so putting together outfits that I would wear is kind of a nice outlet for me! I would wear something like this for a date night. Green, Blue, and Yellow is one of my favorite color combos and I love the mixture of all the different patterns and textures in this look!
I don't really have any big wishes for my closet this week, still looking to add a few accessory pieces to my collection to make my limited maternity wardrobe have a bit more spice and spunk! One item I do want to add to my closet in a normal size is a perfect white dress for summer. I want one that can be dressed up or down, not too short or long, not too fitted or loose. Since this would be a staple piece in my wardrobe, I would up my budget on it. Here are some options (all under $150) below that I would add if I could! Just click below for more details on any!
