So, I think rompers are totally cute. If I am being honest, the only one I own is in pajama form. Here are my fears/concerns about rompers:
1) What if I need to go to the bathroom in a public place? Am I just supposed to take the whole thing off?
2) Rompers always seem to have a super short inseam, and the straps help keep it up and maybe pull it up too far? Butt cheek alert? The point of wearing the romper is not to make me more worried about simple tasks, like walking.
3) I often feel like there's not enough fabric and it looks like your trying to wear a little girl's outfit on an adult body, and it ends up just being too revealing or too short or just oddly proportioned.
One of my biggest weaknesses is giving up after I don't master something the first time. So, when I tried on ONE romper in a store, all of these thoughts flooded my brain, and I never tried again.
Here are my tactics for next time: Be brave and try on more than one item. Concern #1: I just need to get over myself. Concern #2: Look for a romper with a decent inseam. Look into getting one that is tall sized that will automatically have a longer inseam. Go for one that is something other than strapless to combat concern #3.
Here are my top picks for rompers that won't go up your butt, and with the exception of one of the the tall versions, are all under $50. Enjoy!
