I'm not going to sugar coat it. Watching your body change is hard stuff, especially in the world we live in as women. I know that I have to gain weight to be healthy for my growing baby, but it doesn't make the trials of trying to button up your shorts any easier. So, in light of really not being able to shop for "normal" clothes at this point, I've decided a few things. One, I am comfortable with the body I have and the body that will change over the next 22 weeks (and then after pregnancy as well). Two, I can still look like me and feel good about myself. My value doesn't come from the outside but from the inside. I can show who I am more through my actions and words than in my appearance. Three, and on a less serious and fun note, I can still shop for fun items like shoes and purses.
I am wanting to add some more dressy flip flops to my wardrobe. I have some casual sandals that I use, but I am the world's worst at not unbuckling/de-strapping shoes and then shoving my foot back into when I wear them again. It really is not a good idea to ensure the longevity of your purchases. Hence, I need something that requires NO effort to get on and off! Here are a few of my favs!

I've also been looking for the perfect pink purse to add to my closet. I really love bright colors, especially as an accessory. Here are a few of my favs!

This is an outfit I wore to our small group that meets every Tuesday. Right now, we are studying the book of James, but last night we spent time celebrating our friend who is graduating with her Master's Degree this weekend! We just moved to town not long ago. It has been such a true blessing our life to be welcomed by these people with open arms, to share and grow in our faith together, and to build friendships!
