This pretty much sums up my work wardrobe and basic teacher style. Pencil Skirt, Belt, Top, Fun Jewelry. Working from home can definitely be a de-motivator for looking the part of a professional. I had fallen into a trap of basically changing from pajamas to work out clothes back to pajamas every day....or just changing into new pajamas everyday....maybe some days wearing my what I slept in until about 5 minutes before my husband gets home. So here's to having a reason to get dressed! So I can show the maybe 2 people (likely my mom and husband) who are readers at this point. Have to start somewhere though.
If you are reading, let me know! I work for an online school now so my adult interactions are pretty low through the week. I would love to connect with you and get to know you over the course of this blog!
Right now, I am focused on wearing out my clothes I can still get into from my closet. My goal is to spend as little as possible on a maternity wardrobe, because I feel it is rather frivolous and I would rather put that toward a nursery or baby clothes. I also hope in some of my future purchases to buy things that can be maternity and non-maternity.
My wish list right now includes: elastic shorts & swing dresses that will give me room for my growing belly! I am only going on a whim that these are items I can use throughout most of my pregnancy and use when my body readjusts afterwards!
